A.V.A. Ballet Theatre

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in A.V.A. Ballet Theatre. We are committed to being northern Nevada’s premiere ballet company – highlighting principal dancers from around the United States, as well as local and regional dancers and performers. With each performance we strive to increase the level of quality, while exposing and educating children, teens and adults to ballet and the arts. We are proud to offer young dancers who are aspiring to have professional dance careers the proper guidance and preparation through the experience of our performances, our outstanding faculty and guest dancers.

Our faculty, board of directors and volunteers work together to ensure that A.V.A. Ballet Theatre is:

  • Producing high-quality performances.
  • Providing broader exposure and education for children and teens throughout the community with free to low-cost tickets and programs.
  • Expanding community involvement with A.V.A. Ballet Theatre and ballet in general.
  • Creating collaborations with other non-profit and commercial arts groups.
  • Encouraging and developing young aspiring dancers to stay within our community and our company to perform professionally.
  • Providing scholarships to workshops and classes.

What makes A.V.A. Ballet Theatre special in our community? The answer is simple, high-quality performances, exposure and education to ballet and theatre and improved quality of life within our community.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our performances. Thank you for your support of the arts, and ballet specifically, in our community.
